A quick note from Ryan (writer/director/etc)
Just a quick note so you know what to expect. The film was made completely independently, in the sense of being “homemade.” No studios or productions companies or outside funding, “Emily’s apartment” was and is my apartment, etc. I call it kind of a “sci-fi story wrapped inside an indie movie.” It’s not predominately an action or “space” film, though those elements are there. It’s not super fast-paced or going for constant excitement., None of this is offered as an excuse; I firmly believe people either like and get something out of a work of art or they don’t, and no amount of sad stories about how hard it was to make or how little money we had changes that.
